How at this stage is there any doubt about what the Obama Program is?
I do think that a lot of new taxes will harm our economic expansion , this is very likely to reduce tax receipts to the government if the economy gets bad enough , a bad economy in the USA will cause a bad economy in China almost immediately , make it bad enough and we could see the collapse of the Social security system very much earlyer than the estimates of experts who assume an unchanging economy.
1929 set records these could be surpassed in 2009 ,could be that we will all be blogging from Obamatowns more squalid than Hoovervilles ever were.
Or maybe not ,I am not a particularly strong prognosticator , but will the first black leader of the free world be willing to take major risks? Legacy will be more serious for him than it ever was for Hoover.
