Title: Wow

CONNECTICUT - Sen. Joseph Lieberman, running as an independent, has a 53 percent to 33 percent lead on Democratic anti-war challenger Ned Lamont. Lieberman, a three-term Democratic incumbent, lost the party primary in August after Lamont attacked his support for the Iraq war.

Hmm, seems to me that Democrats claim to represent the majority. If that's so, why isn't their guy leading?

Who cares?

Lieberman has been outed as the Republican piece of shit that he is and that's all that's necessary.

He actually defended Dennis Hastert.

It was expected that Lieberman would do well as an independent. What is surprising is that the netroots darling , Deep Pockets Ned, has so little support. Guess the voters figured out that a one dimensional trust fund babe like Lamont wasn't exactly a poster child for the self proclaimed party of the working class people.

Double wow.  Same poll shows Macacawitz over Webb by 11 percentage points.

I still find it entertaining how a former Democrat VP candidate, voting Democrat on nearly every piece of legislation, is somehow a "Republican piece of shit" for daring not tow the party line on 1 particular issue      ;D

Regardless, whoever wins should be fully supported by all since democracy will have been implemented. Just as it is supposed to be.
