Ouch

"The Dallas-based Institute for Creation Research is seeking state approval to train science teachers. This is one of those ideas that should be left on the shelf, right next to Lynne Spears' book on parenting."

Still, well said.

Perhaps we could find some astrologers to teach physics and astronomy, phrenologists to teach psyche, necromancers to provide stock tips?

Never having heard of Lynne Spears, I googled and went straight to the Wikipedia article.  She seems like an intelligent, attractive and very talented young lady.  I was particularly impressed by her having gone to high school in McComb, Mississippi.  McComb, as all true Bo Diddley fans know, is the birthplace of the Great Man himself, and hence of the Bo Diddley Beat.

I assume the book you referred to is merely the product of your sardonic imagination, but who knows?  She won't be the first 16-year-old to become a mother, and probably has more on the ball than 99% of the rest of them.  I'd put more confidence in her views on mothering than I would in a Creation "Scientist's" views on science.

Wrong Lynne Spears.

You confuse Jamie Lynn (newly pregnant) with her mother who also spawned Brittany.

Minor pop culture snark.

Why not , is this a free country or isn't it?

Must all teaching be government approved orthodoxy?

well
actually astrology based stock picking does well.
it`s comparable to the supposed experts.
but than the random dart on the newspaper does well also.
