Fun , but not highly practical

Intratec TEC-22 Threaded Barrel .22 LR Pistol 22
Twentyfive rounds, and a quick flip for another twentyfive, great for plinking , kinda poor for any other use.

I wouldn't pay the asking price , but in the current climate , I wouldn't be surprised at the seller getting what he asks.

It looks dangerous and unique.

I would think that pretty much any decent video shoot-'em up game would be far more exciting than plinking away at paper targets, as well as a lot cheaper.

ANY firearm is dangerous.  Even your black power muskets are dangerous & unique.  A .22 round is one of the smallest rounds any functional gun can use.  Barely any recoil what-so-ever.  Most parents teach their children use of a firearm, starting with some form of .22, be it pistol or rifle.

Of note, IIRC, this can fire just as many rounds, just as fast as the Bushmaster pseudo assault rifle, that was used at Sandy Hook, and likely would be far more accurate, because of the minimal recoil.  Is this weapon "mean enough" looking to get it on the category for Assault Weapon?

I have always heard that the longer the barrel, the more accurate the gun.

Perhaps they should make some REALLY MEAN looking game shooters for video games.

Accuracy is complicated, but for pistols shorter ones are harder to aim.

small caliber + minimal recoil + longer barrel = most accurate at short distances

Unless you don't mind the collateral hit with the shotgun

So, no response to the question then would lead one to deduce that this impractical pistol would not be erroneously deemed an assault weapon, despite the fact it can fire just as fast and just as many rounds as the Sandy Hook weapon, and likely with more accuracy.  Go figure

I think that most murders happen at short ranges.

Which is why most murders occur with short barreled weapons, not pseudo assault weapons, like the Bushmaster

Most murders happen with people who know each other, so avoid your family and friends.

Dan Wesson Large Frame .357 Mag 6" Blue 357

This is more to my personal taste.

Home defense adequacy and bear repellant .

These have an interchangable barrel system that helps make them stiff and sturdy.

Excluding those with a CCW     ;)

http://www.vpc.org/ccwkillers.htm

That is disputed .

This site seems to be claiming that almost four hundred murders have been committed by CCW permittees in the last twenty years.

I guess this demonstrates that the people with permits committ crime at a lower rate.

Providing you accept their accuracy.

Quote
the GAO reports that there were about 8 million active permits in the United States as of December 31, 2011. That's about a million more than previous estimates by scholars." [6]

The number of permits revocations is typically small.[3][7][8] The grounds for revocation in most states, other than expiration of a time-limited permit without renewal, is typically the commission of a gross misdemeanor or felony by the permit holder. While these crimes are often firearm-related (including unlawful carry), a 3-year study of Texas crime statistics immediately following passage of CHL legislation found that the most common crime committed by CHL holders that would be grounds for revocation was actually DUI, followed by unlawful carry and then aggravated assault. The same study concluded that Texas CHL holders were always less likely to commit any particular type of crime than the general population, and overall were 13 times less likely to commit any crime.[9]

A huge number of  gun deaths are suicides. It has to be a lot harder to commit suicide with a rifle. And I don't imagine that one needs a whole lot of bullets, either.

Would a gun ban of any type reduce suicide?
