The way the moderators acted, made it easy for pretty much all the candidates to dress them down

Yes many of them punched back well against the biased ridiculous questions and media:

Ted Cruz COULD have said something substantive, but he preferred to complain about how the moderators were mistreating him. Aww, Poor baby.
This guy has zilch going for him, and he has the voice of a cartoon duck. He sounds like poor old Hubert Humphrey.
He does not like the heat, but all he does is complain about the kitchen. What a loser!

The only Republican that actually made sense was John Kasich. The rest were simply loons.
While it may be true that Jeb! did not criticize McCain for missing  votes in the Senate, that does not excuse Rubio from his gross absenteeism. Just because McCain was playing hooky does not oblige  SeƱorito Rubio for trying to find a rhyme for it.

And I agree with Christie that fantasy football is a trivial issue.

Actually that's the point...he DID say something substantive.  And as a result, he, Rubio, and Christie had a stellar showing.  Sorry to disappoint.  Despite his standard answers, which were fine, Kasich was a non-factor, and Bush was a bomb

All he did was bitch about how the moderators did not say anything substantive. That is not something substantive.
He said nothing about war and peace, the budget or employment. And he still sounded like a cartoon duck.
I shudder at the thought of this pathetic bitchy clown representing my country.
A pissed off cartoon duck.
I bet he turns out to be a one term senator.

Ted Cruz is a prick.

No, that was but a fraction of what he did.  The rest of the time he was giving stellar answers to the questions posed.  You must have been watching an alternate reality debate on MSNBC.  Rest assured, you'll get a priceless version of what you thought you saw, on the next SNL episode

I cannot imagine SNL doing a kit that would make Cruz look like anything but an ranting idiot.

Which is why you're going to love their alternate reality version of the debate....much like what you thought you saw

There is no way any comedy skit could made Cruz look intelligent or clever.

Just as no amount of make up could make Marty Feldman (Igor in Young Frankenstein) look presidential.

The guy may have all sorts of degrees, but he has the personality of an annoying loser. Negative charisma.

Who claimed it would?  That's the point of SNL...to ridicule.  Which is why you're going to love their alternate reality version of the debate....much like what you thought you saw     ::)

Ted Cruz is a prick.

You are a racist and do not like Senator Cruz because he is Hispanic!

Yeah, like my wife and my daughter

I do not like Ted Cruz because he is a prick. He is not much of a Hispanic.

Hmmm.....isn't it you demeaning & dismissing Cu4's or my black friends, whenever you erroneously accuse us of being a racist, and we references those friends??  Should we not employ the same tactic you use?

Cruz may indeed be intelligent.

He does not, however, look intelligent. He looks like a ranting loon and sounds like a cartoon duck.

Appearances and reality often vary. Morgan Freedman and George Burns both could play God in a convincing way.

Ted Cruz has no real skills at convincing others that he knows the truth about anything. He flails and rants, but he only appeals to the few who already have been convinced elsewhere. He cannot convert, he cans only preach to the converted. I would not buy a car from Ted Cruz.
