She is not running for chauffeur in chief.
Reagan was ancient and senile, and I do not recall seeing him driving a car while president.

It is a measure of the separation that exists between the ruling class and the most of us.
I remember president Bush expressing amazement at a bar code reader at a checkout, and this was made much of.
Our rulers require such protection that it isn't practical that they drive or fly ordinary aircraft or walk alone in the park.
Yet they desire to show that they have the common touch, remember John Kerry going on a goose hunt with brand new Carharts on ?

Reagan was clearly mentally challenged by the time he ran for a second term.
It looks like the GOP will do something really creative: run yet another Bush.
Rubio says it will have nothing to do with his decision to run, which is clearly untrue, since he and Jebbie compete for the same money from the same people.
If Jebboie decides to run, Rubio is out of the game.

The point isn't whether Hilalry will be driving as President.
The point is she has not driven a car in almost 20 years before whe would be elected President.
It one of several indications that she is "out of touch".

If I were half so wealthy as the Clintons I would certainly drive a lot less.
Unless I were just as wealthy as the Clintons and could buy a collection to rival Jay Leno's . Then I would drive a different classic every day.
I remember Romney saying that his tastes were simple and that his wife drove around in a couple of Cadillacs. I remember John McCain being unable to estimate the exact number of houses he owned.
It is true that the rich are different , and who wants to vote for Gatsby?
Every time that Hillary forgets herself and lets fall a gaffe(truth) she will loose the illusion of the "common touch" and it will reduce the enthusiasm of her voters.
Bush ,Romney and McCain were hurt this way, and as a Democrat it will probably hurt Hillary worse.
Not enough to cost her an election by itself, but every little bit helps.

Hillary outpolls Jebbie and the Mittster and all the rest of the lameoids the GOP has wanting to run in the primaries. Guys like Paul and Cruz will shred one another in the primaries, which will be amusing to watch.
There is no chance the GOP can get the Latino vote. And there are more Latino and Black voters than there were in 2008 and 2012.
