They told us that if George W. Bush were reelected simple Internet parodies would be ruthlessly suppressed by a political commissariat. And they were right!

The T-shirt was unimaginative, boring and stupid. The commentary following the article indicates that it didn't sell single item. Good thing, too, because I don't think MoveOn would have had a leg to stand on. Isn't the shirt "fair comment?"

Sure is.
And naturally the point is not how well designed the shirt was, or how many it sold.
The point is that Move-on felt the need to sic lawyers on the little people.
