I am John McCain and I approved this message (a) because I am an moron and unaware that drilling everywhere the oil companies think they could drill would not bring down prices more than five cents a gallon. -0r-(b) I am aware that this is true, but I think you voters are morons.

There are hundreds of places where Big Oil could drill, but have not even done preliminary surveys.

On the banner ad above this page, I see that John McCain is not the only person that thinks we are morons.

I see the question, "Do you feel safe with Bush as President?"

No matter what I click, something called Predicto that has something to do with mobile phones wants me to pay it $9.99 a month to answer similar questions.

Silly ad and so misleading.

It should have been run by the RNC urging replacement of dem senators and congressmen. They say whether we drill in ANWR or not.

This is a total non-issue. Drilling in ANWR or wherever will not bring down the price of gasoline soon, perhaps not at all.

The longer they wait to drill, the more likely they will have the technology to do it more safely and more efficiently.

This is NOT the issue. The issue is that the Republicans want to continue in power, doing the sort of crap they have done for the past eight years.

They have done the WRONG THINGS and they have done them POORLY.

I suppose that could be a theme for a dem ad. And they are more than welcome to pay for it if they like instead of demanding the GOP run their ads for them in some sort of misapplied fairness act ploy.
