I have attended a monthly faculty meeting for the past thirty-two years.
The only one that ever resulted in anything productive happening was when we voted no confidence in the president.
The local newspaper investigated, discovered that he had approved a plan that took Pell Grant money to educate octogenarians in an old folks' home, and that three had been given grades of A and B even though they died before the end of the term.
He was gone within a year.
But that was the ONLY meeting that resulted in anything useful.
