Perhaps he doesn't want to be President , only the spoiler- like Perroit - who soaks up the margin.

I think his recent fowl-mouthed tirade pretty much ended his political career.

I think both Ross Perot would have loved to be president. Donald Trump would like being president as well.
Of course, Perot could win, and probably Trump does not want to go through the hassle of campaigning and coughing up his tax returns and such. He has little chance of getting the GOP nomination and no chance of being elected.
