I would love it.
Gov. Romney picked a woman to serve as his Lt. Governor.
She'd be perfect. No?
-
I'd go hispanic, female and from the southwest.
-
Condi GW Rice, great idea.
BSB
-
The National Security Officer who brought us 9-11 AND the diplomat that gave us Hamas. PLUS the woman that Exxon so loved that they named a supertanker after her!
A triple header! AND she plays the piano!

I've seen Gov. Susana Martinez of New Mexico mentioned as a possible pick. I'm not sure of her background and experience though. Gov. Fortuno of Puerto Rico would be interesting. I know he helped Romney a lot in the primary there.
-
I would be curious as to who XO or BSB would recommend Romney pick. Who would be his best, realistic choice?
-
I won't be voting for Romney. I want to see him lose. I want his party to become extinct.
So, of course, Sarah Palin again.
-
I like Condi, she is very bright, but I am not sure someone that has never
held elected office brings much to the ticket except for the novelty factor.
I think we can do better as far as someone being able to help deliver a
key state thats sends Obama into retirement.

Mitt Romney's choice of Beth Myers to lead VP search highlights his small circle of trust

By Glen Johnson, Globe Staff
In Mitt Romney's steadily expanding corps of advisers, there remains a small circle of trust.
Beth Myers is in it, and that explains a lot about why the presumptive Republican presidential nominee tapped her to lead his vice presidential search.

Earned trust is an important asset. I don't see a problem with Romney choosing someone he trusts to thoroughly vet any potential VP candidates. Looks like a sound decision to me.

He's the presumptive nominee. I can't see how anyone can complain about who he has put his trust in.

I have no idea who Beth Mayers is.
As I recall, Beth Meyerson was the first Jewish Miss America.
