Title: Not I brought this up before
Post by: kimba1 on February 08, 2016, 12:23:16 AM
I notice a wrongful reliance to technology since my internet vacation. True our phones makes us more accesible but in my job I work in a copper building and with the public which makes not as reachable most times of the day and somehow people find that difficult to understand. I actually know a couple who get into serious arguements because one can't reach the other on the phone for an hour. I seriously think we're going a bad path being hooked to our phones. Do I sound like a cranky fart.I don't mind if I do

People have obviously become addicted to their phones.
They managed to get along without being able to call others 24/7 with little difficulty, but now it seems essential to them.

this can`t be good for business. to run system that require immediate response and have little leeway incase of no contact . I remember a few decades earthquake in L.A. stopped all package from leaving L.A. an attorney was upset with me on how inconvient it was to her. today it`ll be total chaos when we lose power.
