He actually got a point if I remember right the original black panthers supplied food and security to various neighborhoods. Im not sure this new one has done this

I think we should also be calling out the Mainstream Media, once again.  Look at at Katrina:

Then President Bush was on vacation.  He CANCELLED his vacation and flew over the area, on hiw way to the White House.  The media portayed him as not caring as he flew over, not caring for black people, as he flew over them in "his plane".  All the while he made it clear that the timing was wrong, that trying to come immediately, would not only be a distraction, but would pull police and other services away from search & rescue, to more of a security detail.  And yet the media and Democrats still villified his "lack of caring"

Fast forward to now....Obama is on vacation.  He CONTINUES on his vacation.  The media and the now Democrat Governor all accurately reference that the timing is inappropriate, that it'd be a distraction, that it would take police and over services away from search & rescue to more of a security detal.  The MEDIA is referencing this

Notice a theme, there?
