Excellent slideshow.


Shockwaves in high humidity conditions become visible around bomb blasts too.

Or Cannon shots , where they often form rings.

And at the intakes of stationary jet engines where the vortexe somtimes look like writhing pythons.


I would like to fire this thing in a fog.

Very cool.

There was something I found I thought you'd like, it was a link on (I thought) the same blog.  Photos of jets, airliners, USAF planes and even a Russian pilot ejecting. I've never seen anything like it.  Can't find it now, but I did find this:
