It is difficult to argue with anything either Powell or Nunn said. They do understand the problems, at least.
Dick Cheney has never understood them. I think that either his heart drugs must have affected his mind, or all the people whp used to say that he was a genius were simply dead wrong.
No one has accused him of genius since 2000. Nor will they ever again.
Powell and Nunn are right on the money.

Where do they disagree with Cheney?
Cheney thinks the war is nearly won and over, but still wants to keep troops in Iraq at the current level, and would like to keep them there for as long as possible.
Cheney still insists that there was an urgent need to invade Iraq, despite the nonexistence of the alleged WMD's.
Nunn and Powell said that a case can be made for not invading in the first place.

I didn't know that, when did he say so?

If you didn't know this, you clearly have not been paying attention.
He said that Iraq was nearly over in 2007.
