Good kid!  He's in the Union of Young Communists.  I was kind of worried all that publicity could have ruined him, but at least he seems to have his head screwed on straight.

I don't think that they translate to English very well.

They seem to be calling a long term stagnated condition "revolution".

<<They seem to be calling a long term stagnated condition "revolution".>>

Revolutions can hit roadblocks at any point in their development.  It was the task of Fidel and his compa?eros to make the Revolution and seize power, now it's up to Elian's generation of Communists to find ways around the roadblocks, to keep the Revolution vital and meaningful in the lives of the people.  New generation of Communists, new challenges to be met for the Revolution.

Good luck, Elian!!

Didn't that shut out two generations?

Are you sure that the Castro family is going to ever die?

They could afford an unlimited number of Chineese replacement organs.

First they'd have to outbid John McCain.

Shouldn't be difficult for an owner of a country.

They don't "own" the country.  McCain's probably got more homes than all of them put together and if he doesn't, he can buy as many as he needs from them to draw even.  (But first he'd have to check with his staff to find out how many homes he already owns.)

It's been reported that Fidel has about 50 houses - far more than McCain.

"It's been reported" by whom?  And BTW, has the U.S. government ever tried to assassinate McCain?  Fourteen times?

A similar source to yours about the zoning regulations not being met when building the Twin Towers.

I don't know about that, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Cuban government tried it.

Why would the Cuban government try to assassinate John McCain even once, let alone fourteen times?
That is about as likely as them arming the moose to shoot back if attacked by Sarah Palin.

My money's on the moose.

The basic problem with moose assassins is that a moose typically lacks opposable  thumbs.Or more specifically, thumbs of any description. A moose would require a rifle with a trigger that a moose could pull, I suppose with its tongue.

Designing a weapon to enable unglates to assassinate humans would be a difficult engineering problem, and in addition, might prove unwise. a weapon a moose could use could easily end up in the hands of disaffected cattle, and empowered livestock would be a threat to our way of life and eating hamburgers.

OK, that requires me to post a link to the Cows With Guns (http://mario.silent-tower.org/Members/mmbutter/funstuff/cowswithguns.swf) video. (Requires Shockwave/Flash)

Edit: Fixed link.

Thanks! I had heard the song, but had not seen the video.
Excellent! I suppose that one might point out that the hero was not so much as a cow, but a bull or steer, but armed cows are lots funnier.

You noticed that "he" had an udder, right?
