Time to replace the old TV.

What i want to do is be able to view the output from my PC and watch TV shows at the same time on the same monitor. I'm thinking picture in picture. I would like for the images to be swappable and possibly resizable. TV source is satellite. PC source can be VGA or hdmi. What's out there now that can do this?
