Where the country really is: c. 40% Clinton, 35% Trump, 25% neither--& "neither" didn't get a publicly financed convention to make his case.

When Dems are finished running vs Trump's foreign policy, they'll be more hawkish than me.#OneGoodConsequenceOfTrump

Blake Hounshell @blakehounshell   You Dems do realize that Obama is opposed to sending lethal arms to Ukraine, right? https://twitter.com/creynoldsnc/status/761629659633188864 …

The US does not need to provoke Russia. Ukraine cannot defeat Russia, and the US would be foolish to cause this mess to prolong itself.

Do you not find Hillary Clinton to be hawkish?

She has not recommended any massive invasions or occupations, so not really.
Trump would be a greater danger, as he is quick to insult and to anger.
Big Swinging Dicks are never good leaders.

The bill was not to invade Iraq, but th give Juniorbush the authority to do so.
Many hoped that Saddam would simply take the money and run with his sons.

I was opposed to it, so the term "everyone" is incorrect. Congress was NOT unanimous.

We're not talking about you now, are we.  When a congress critter SUPPORTS and VOTES for authorization to use force, its a clear reference to SUPPORTING the use of force.  You can't have read her mind.  You have no basis to claim she voted for it, only to not actually support it

SUPPORTING the use of force is not the same as actually USING force,
Just like putting money in a checking account is not the same as spending money.
Putting gas in the car is not the same as driving on a trip.

Authorizing the use of force is like cocking the hammer ans aiming the gun.
It is not the same as shooting the gun.

Supporting the use of force is SUPPORTING ITS USE, if its indeed USED.  Not sure what clinton-like semantic game you're playing, but Clinton DID support the war in Iraq.  You didn't, she DID.  It's that simple.

The US should strive to have much better relations with Russia and cease trying to piss in Russia's soup every chance we get. Trump says "wouldn't it be great to get along with Russia". I agree! Ukraine, Crimea is no real US National Interest. It would be great if Ukraine or Crimea would be independent, free, democratic....but we have no business there and way too many other more pressing issues to tackle. We should take a lesson from Russia on how to better deal with the Middle East.

It was an error for Hillary or anyone to vote for that bill.
I was against it entirely I knew that Juniorbush, Rumsfeld, Cheney Rice and Powell and the rest of them were lying about WMD's.
Hillary has since admitted that it was an error to vote for it.

The Russians and the US are in a trade war over who will supply oil and gas to Western Europe. Big Oil (Exxon, Shell, BGP, Valero, etc) want to supply Europe with gas and oil via tankers. The Russians can deliver fuel more efficiently with pipelines, Assad is a cruel butcher who murders doctors and nurses, and the US should in no way support him. I agree that the US has no serious interest in Ukraine EXCEPT THIS:  if Ukraine decides to  interrupt the oil and gas pipelines that cross its territory, Big Oil has an advantage.
\
I consider Putin and Big Oil to be equally rotten.
Russia wants to control Syria to prevent a pipeline across it from Qatar and the UAE to the Mediterranean coast, where tanker ships could load. Saudi Arabia's oil is also in the East, along the Persian Gulf.

That's your opinion.  FACT remains she supported the war, so why you're trying to parce her vote as somehow not suporting it, when she voted to authorize use of force. is truly mind boggling

Mike Morell, former acting director of the CIA and Hillary Clinton supporter.

The U.S. should start killing Russians and Iranians and bomb Assad in Syria.

Brilliant rebuttal      ::)    Boggles the mind, as in generally.  For a linguistics professor, you really struggle with context

Hmmmm.... It is a lot like loading the gun and handing it over and saying "go get them tiger!"

It is my thesis that Hillary Clinton is the absolute worst American citizen to make president.

So it is consistent for me to agree with you that your judgment is better than Hillary Clinton's .

     After all,...whose is not?
