   Will this frustration play out in the kind of violence that Republicans displayed seven or six years ago?

Yes, though they are not able to really block any of them, they can slow walk the process and make it take extra effort, time and money.   This might slow the Trump agenda , but it also garners public support from people who do not appreciate such defense of the status quo.
