I've been watching this on HBO and I've enjoyed quite a bit.  Everyone seems to look just like who they are portraying especially that guy playing George Washington who is PERFECT.

The guy playing George Washington is well known character actor named David Morse. The nose is fake, but he really does look like Washington.

I am hoping that this will be out on DVD soon, or I can get a buddy with a DVD recorder to dupe it for me.

Yeah, wasn't he on Family (back in the day)?  And I think he was in the Crossing Guard.

I can put 'em onto DVD for you. There are 7 episodes, I'll charge you $1 per disk plus actual shipping.

Let me know if you want 'em before I delete 'em from my TiVo.

Ami,

What kind of DVD recorder do you have?

Do you have to play the tivo'ed stuff as it records or does it just burn onto the disk or what?

I'm going to get next month some time and I need one that burns dvds from my dishnetwork dvr and VHS tapes.

It's like recording to a VCR, except it burns disks instead. Any stand-alone burner should work.
