I've always enjoyed Star Trek but never been a full-blown Trekkie.  Watched New Generation but not much after that but I have to say, I'm really looking forward to this new prequel-type file coming out by JJ Abrams of Lost fame.

Looks very exciting.

Sorry about that. I couldn't find a clip with the entire scene. Nor could I find the original.

I did not recall Rene Auberjenois (who played Odo on DS9) was ever in the original series.

Was this the episode where they pieced parts of an original ST episode with DS9?

There was only one episode where the original Klingons and the new-model Worf-style Klingons appeared as a flashback to the old ST and a contemporary ST series, maybe STNG but probably DS9. A really lame explanation for the transformation of the entire Klingon race was offered.

Could this be the episode?

I was foul mouth at the end of killbill 1 ,I cursed tarintino when I saw the words" to be continued"
it was a brilliant move ,but painful

In this episode the Next Generation travel back in time ... for some reason ... I don't recall why. I do remember it was giving a lot of attention and advertising.

Worf is asked to explain why the Klingons look so different. He explains it's not something Klingons like to talk about. It was hilarious.

=============
It was some sort of stuff about Dr Soon altering their DNA. Pretty lame.
