Cain is trapped in his own lies, first that there was no settlement, then that it was small, "only" a few thousand bucks, then it turns out that there WAS a settlement and it was for one of the women $35,000 or a YEAR'S pay, not the "two or three months'  pay" that Cain first said it was.

I don't think he lied. As he recollected what happened he was honest about it. He hasn't ducked the question on any interviews.

This whole ordeal has made me want to support Cain even more because I am pissed off about the unfairness of the whole thing. And I doubt I'm the only one.

They are shots, like all news stories, intended to increase readership and viewership.

Not true. When it's a democrat it is not reported. Only one question was asked of Obama about Bill Ayers and none about Rev. Wright. No questions to John Edwards when he ran, even after some in the media knew of his bastard child. Readership and veiwership be damned.

These are shots by partisan media outlets meant only for one thing: to end Herman Cain's campaign. It hasn't worked.

What's your take on his damage control?

He could have been more prepared. That said, he answers all questions about it on any show he has been on. He is actually raising more money now and is still doing fine in the polls. The media coverage of it makes me mad, so I'm guessing others feel the same way. I doubt the media would have reported anything as thin against Obama. He's taking some heavy shots from the New York Times and NBC News. These are shots meant to end his campaign.

On who they fear the most to take on Obama. The AP. The New York Times. NBC News. They are trying to take this guy out.  These are the biggest hitters the Democrat party has.

I saw the video. He was talking about nuclear powered aircraft carriers, just like he has said in other interviews he has given on the topic.

How many Godfather's Pizza locations do you know of?

There is one pretty close and two within 30 minutes.  I'm looking forward to trying it.

Being elected president as the first Balck man to do so is success.

Now he has to be removed because he is a dismal failure.

Getting any sort of healthcare bill through Congress is SUCCESS.

Which has to be repealed because nobody wants it.

Removing Bin Laden and a host of other baddies is SUCCESS.

Yeah a success for our Seals. Obama had little to do with it.

He is a far better choice than this blowhard crackpot pizza guy who got 26.2% when he ran for senator in the only election he has ever entered. For the last few years, Cain has been a "motivational speaker". That is hardly any sort of executive experience.

There was no Tea Party when Cain first ran, and he also didn't have a 999 plan. Cain gained experiance running a campaign. As you probably don't know, Obama lost his first election for congress, badly.

Everybody here knows Cain's business experience and background. Nice try.

Ho-hum.

So some smoker likes Cain. There is no real message here.

Cain is different! blah, blah, blah.

BFD.

And yet you couldn't resist responding.

I love this ad.

Obama has to hide in a corner somewhere and take a smoke because he's too afraid for anybody to see what he's doing. Here's an ad by Cain that is in your face. That is a real, hard working American showing some enthusiasm for his candidate. It's real.

I didn't get a chance to watch any cable news today, so I don't know if the liberal left was in a tizzy about it.

But I hope they were. It shows a conservative white guy supporting a black guy, which is a no no with the liberal left because we are supposed to be racists. It shows somebody smoking, which is a no no to the liberal left, but guess what? real people go to work and relax and have a smoke.

I don't even know if this ad is supposed to run on the air, but it's great.

I'm in the process of reconsidering my endorsement of Romney. It was premature. I stayed up very late last night watching various speeches and interviews of Herman Cain. I like what I see.

Radio ad for Herman Cain aimed at Republican voters in 50 states, campaign says
Jennifer Jacobs 2:24 PM, Oct 24, 2011

A national radio advertisement for presidential candidate Herman Cain begins Tuesday on the Rush Limbaugh program ? and it?s aimed not only at Iowa but all 50 states, Cain?s aides said today.

?We are running a 50 state campaign, with the belief that every Republican voter in every state should have a say in the outcome of our party?s nominating process,? Mark Block, Cain?s chief of staff, said in a written statement today.

Steve Grubbs, Cain?s Iowa campaign chairman, said in the statement that Limbaugh?s show reaches the two biggest AM stations in Iowa.

?We believe this will support our renewed efforts to line up precinct captains in 1,500 locations across the state and help us raise the critical donations we need to fund our campaign effort,? Grubbs said.

A surge in donations for Cain put the campaign into a position to take Cain?s message to Republican primary voters nationally, Block said.

?Herman Cain recorded a message speaking directly to voters and we believe this will begin to solidify our support in all 50 states,? Block said.

The ad, which will continue into next week, promotes a new website called www.999MeansJobs.com.

For the first time in two months, Cain made a visit to Iowa this past weekend, for tailgating at two state college football games and a speech to conservatives at a forum hosted by a Christian policy organization. Since August, he has dedicated his time campaigning outside the first-in-the-nation caucus state.

There is something about this ad that works, although I can't put my finger on what it is. It is definitely unique; I will give them that. I'm not sure where or when this is going to run.

Now is the time for action!
