It is one thing to accept what we cannot change, and another to deliberately  torture one's body to  achieve a state of bliss. Mother Teresa's thing was that she too money that people donated to her patients and used it to start other missions, rather than on pain pills to alleviate the suffering of her patients, because she felt that their suffering was noble.

The subject of this post is "the value of suffering", because Mother Teresa said that suffering per se had value and was appreciated by God.
I note that no one has seen fit to agree with Mother Teresa about this.
There is a long tradition in several religions regarding suffering as a manner of achieving enlightenment.

Essentially, the argument with Trump's tax dodging is that one side says he is a parasite, who avoids contributing anything to the society that he feasts upon with his  casinos to bilk the public and his fancy hotels and other crap, and the other side that argues, "Yes but he is LEGALLY ENTITLED to be a parasite, but you must elect him so that he will ban anyone, including himself, from ever being a parasite again.".


Anyway you look at it, Trump is a parasite, determined to prevent anyone from seeing how much blood he has sucked out of the rest of us.

It will be ever so much better being led by a parasite than a (yuck!) Negro or a (ewwwww!) woman!

Chelsea Clinton's first wedding was at least as big a social occasion as Trump's second wedding. Note that the Clintons apparently paid the price that was quoted, while Trump thought that his wedding was like some sort of royal event and that the publicity would be of enough benefit to cpver the costs of the rice, champagne, waiters, cake, food and booze.

Trump is NOT a "mensch": he is a gonif.

Well, Hillary is far less a selfish asshole than Hillary. I am pretty sure the caterers at Chelsea's wedding got paid for their efforts.

The problem is that corporations need to be prevented from screwing the citizens, because that is what the business plan of many of them is. But Penn Gillette makes far more sense than a lot of people, as does Bernie Sanders.

No, this is about how the GOP made it impossible for Ted Cruz to be the nominee. Trumnp got more votes.
Hillary also got the Democratic nomination by getting more votes. Even if we discount the super delegate votes, Hillary got enough votes to make her the nominee.
