3DHS / Re: Amnesia About Republican Spending

10% cut on all agencies, including the heart wrenching ones.  Start at the top, work your way down.
No more added pork to any legislation.  All spending to be totally transparent.
If need be, cut in wages to everyone in government jobs that make over a certain dollar amount.  I say this, because someone making 30,000 should not have a wage cut.  But so many make nearly 150k-200k for their work that state government pays for, i/e tax payers.
Have you ever looked at the wages of school administrators or sports specialists in the public school systems?  OUT OF CONTROL!!

Gibbs did welcome Wendell (from Fox News) to the front well, when he finally accepted a question from him.
Chip, (not sure what news agency) who was sitting next to Fox News, asked some pretty good questions this morning that put Gibbs on edge.  He did call him out on his hypocrisy over an Economic adviser that McCain used and claimed it was all politics.  Turns out that the Obama Admin also used this Economic Adviser, whom also is a democrat.

Hi Christian.  I am on vacation with no where to go, and too poor this year.
(Thank you Obama for all of the tiny taxes that you have increased, higher fuel costs, higher healthcare costs, higher energy costs, higher grocery costs, higher taxes on phone, cell, internet, and CAT FOOD)

Robo, you evaded the facts that I posted.  You copied something that does not answer the question nor the defend the myths.
How can raising taxes help those that are already hurting.  No matter how you look at it, rich or poor, if you raise taxes on them, they have less cash, less spending power, less consumer confidence, less money to the small business man, less money at the malls, less purchasing power, and in the long run, less taxes to the federal government.
Even one of the Democrats heroes (JFK) made it very clear that raising taxes is harmful to the economy and he lowered taxes.

3DHS / Re: We Can't Afford the Bush Tax Cuts
« on: August 03, 2010, 01:14:36 AM »
How can this country affort not to keep the cuts in place.  Have you not looked at your pay check as of late?  Do you remember what the rates where prior to the cuts?
Here are a few examples of what will happen.

25% rate goes to 27%
28% rate goes to 30%
33% rate goes to 35%
35% rate goes to 38.6%

Reasons to extend the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts for all income levels:

• 75 percent of small-business owners use individual tax rates for federal income taxes.

• Small businesses that pay at the two top two rates are estimated to employ 25 percent of the American workforce.

• Small businesses create 66 percent of net new jobs.

• In 2011, 750,000 taxpayers with net business income would pay the highest marginal rates. Their returns would include about 50 percent of the $1 trillion of total net business income.

• If the Bush tax cuts expired, some small businesses would pay a tax rate higher than Fortune 500 companies.

• Small businesses create more jobs than major companies.
