Good for you.  I just keep thanking God, and the country, that your pick didn't come to fruition.  Country sure dodged a bullet there

No one has claimed him to be 100% evil.  In fact, no one has claimed him to be even 50% evil.  Merely 100% douchebag, while exposing the liberal left, such as Matt Lauer, as 100% hypocrites

Its the acts that can be equated....not what people do for a living

One wonders if they see the "writing on the wall"?, as in they can smell criminal conduct and charges around the corner.  She should have been indicted on a laundry list of Federal crimes, long ago, but skated.  Yes, there's a GOP appointed AG now, and yes, the FBI is under new management......but.....I'm just saying, I'm not going to hold my breath for charges, until they actually are uttered by the FBI or Justice Dept

Indeed.  And notice how this particular shooting incident completely falls flat in the face of the leftist agenda....

- Government screwed up, in not notifying the proper branch of his military crime, that SHOULD have legally banned him from purchasing any firearms,

and it was.....*wait for it*.....

- a civilian with a gun (an NRA instructor to boot), who stopped this fella before he could move on to potentially kill far more.  Couldn't help but notice how that part of the story keeps getting omitted from any news reporting

.... this time in Texas, it took someone WITH a firearm to put down someone using a firearm

So...is the goal, by leftists, to disarm the person who took the bad guy down??

been thinking about immigration and national security and one  flaw I see is how can it stop terrorist who enter as tourist. a tourist has way less stringent process and can`t realisticly get more strict

Kimba, you've touched on a frequent theme of the left.....1 employed on so many topics & issues facing this country.  You're absolutely right, given the hypothetical you've referenced.  Now, I know you didn't make this reference with a leftist agenda in mind, but notice how its used by the left:

We can't build a wall, because it won't stop "all" illegal immigration

We can't build any nuclear plants, because it won't solve "all" our energy issues.

same argument used in that We can't build any new oil platforms, because it'll take upwards of 10years to turn that crude into any substantive refined oil

So many other examples I could bring about.....all of them largely true.  But it's an effort (not that you're trying to do so) to deflect from the issue at hand.   Nothing proposed will solve "all" of anything.  The issue is what CAN be implemented that is both practical & Constitutional?....and that CAN provide significant improvement in our lives & security, without stomping on our liberties & rights?

So, how do we address your hypothetical, regarding a would be Islamic terrorist, posing as a tourist?  Obviously, they didn't come in with some manner of firearms & explosives.  Would they have been in contact with some terrorist cell, that might be being monitored by the FBI?  That didn't work so well with the Boston bombers or San Bernadino shooters.  What would you propose?

Your cartoon reminds me of something that was recently reported here in CA.  Many a politician in CA, with Presidential aspirations, look to being a mayor of either LA or SF, and then jump to Governor,.... as a manner of fluffing up their resume'.  Current Los Angeles Governor, Eric Garcetti, is young, ambitions, won election in a landslide, and has a massive Democratic base to basically book passage right into the Governor's mansion

He has come out publically as to having no intention of running for governor

hmmmmmm, but why?  It's literally his, if he simply wants it

The greatest, and most likely theory is, the current reality of California's fiscal & political status.  Having just passed the moronic sanctuary state madness, the now just put into action, gas tax, (adjustable for inflation), the pending hike in car registration fees of around $30 to over $120, the imminent Cap & Trade implementation, as well as the ongoing notions of a state version of Universal Health Care and/or abolishing Prop 13, and the writing is on the wall........ NO ONE will want to be Governor of this imminent state disaster, after Governor Moonbeam's tenure comes to a close

if movies really lose that much money then how do sequels get made?

Excellent question     ???

55
Well that's just it.....there should be no rational reason, what-so-ever, to have such verbage in one's contract.  The fact he did, per his lawyers, makes it crystal clear of the impending lawsuits, and so long as Weinstein kept making his legally arranged-for payments, the studio could look the other way, and not care what repercussions fell upon the women that were abused

56
but he is a threat to the health of his company how would this not be a factor?

I'm sure that's what the company will argue, but the point remains, he can't really be fired for his sexual perversions, if that was written into his contract

57
Here's the kicker though.... he may have been fired illegally.  Per that contract, as long as he's paying everyone, including the studio, in the amounts allocated, as stipulated in the contract, the company has no basis to fire him.  At least that's what his lawyer is going to argue....and it has legal legs

Except for 1 thing Kimba, it only crashed become someone's story was finally found to be accepted.  Not supported, but accepted

Here's a fella that not only was apparently able to buy off the NY DA, to drop a case being brought forth, that cleary had him voicing his harrassment efforts, but literally, had in his contract that he' simply pay off anyone that brought some lawsuit against him, as well as pay off the studio with his own money.  It was in his bloody contract....as in the studio even knew what was in store, but they were ok with it, since they get a payoff at the end of the day, while Harvey buys the person's silence

Apparently someone finally couldn't be bought off.  The point being, this was something, so many knew was going on, but because he had $$$, because he gave to PC causes and Democrats in particular, everyone looked the other way, while they condemned Trump for simply talking crude about women

The Hypocrisy here is rank.  So, yea, he might be crashing now, but only because he couldn't buy his way out of it, while most everyone else just looked the other way

On a related tangent, here's another thing that "doesn't add up".  The left, its pundits and political sychophants keep trying to paint the GOP as in the pocket of the NRA.  That the NRA has "bought and payed for" pretty much anything related to gun legislation

Easy to say that....hard to support it.  It would seem that the amount of money politicians receive from the NRA is a fraction of other leftist super PAC's.  Even when you combine all the axillary smaller gun organizations, with the NRA, they're dwarphed by these super PAC's that give to both parties.

So how is it that the NRA's small pittence of donations rules the GOP, but the far more mass amounts of money that the Unions, or Planned Parenthood, or even the Super PAC EMILY'S group, who all EACH give more in donations than the NRA, somehow doesn't own the DC Democrats??
