George Steinbrenner, dead at age 80, from an apparent massive heart attack. Though this would largely be a sports related topic to be placed in our sports section, love him or hate him, he was big time NY news, if not country wide, with how he ran his baseball team, the multiple firings of managers like Billy Martin, and the mega millions he payed for the best players in baseball.
