As the Earth rapidly becomes more crowded , disasters will continue to get worse.

There are more people on every coast that a Hurricane can hit , more people living on the slopes of every volcano, more people in every flood plain, more in every city that can suffer an earthquake.

Hati is an extreme example of this effect , the resorces of Hati long ago were too few to support the population of Hati. The only way the USA can solve Hatis problems would be to accept a large purportion of their population into our company and employ them, then encourage the rest of them to adopt Zero Population Growth.

Haiti could easily grow more than enough to feed itself.

What is needed is education of the farmers and modern equipment.

Birth control is also essential. In the long run, we would save both lives and money making Haiti self-sufficient. But I really doubt it will happen.

Erosion has hit Hati very hard, overfishing has stripped the reefs near there too.

"Modern" farming doesn't work well on small and steep plots .
