Bush Library!
« on: July 11, 2011, 03:37:14 PM »
This past Saturday evening I stopped by the construction site of the
Bush Presidential Library at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
It is coming right along.
Some LibTards tried to prevent this project from happening here.
We see how that worked out for them! :)

A library for a guy totally unfamous for reading anything.

All presidents get libraries, of course. Why not?

I bet SMU gets 50 cents on every dollar contributed.

Can a person really keep a 3.0 at Harvard without reading or writing much?

If it is that easy maybe I should go.

Or perhaps loose my habit of not beleiving everything I read.

Oh Plane you are not well versed in the Bush Derangement Syndrome theory?

Cuzz we all know President Bush a graduate of...BOTH...Yale and Harvard
was a total idiot and never could have passed anything at Yale & Harvard.
Two of the most prestigious universities on the planet simply passed the
idiot through because of Daddy...
thats how these great Universities maintain such worldly respect...  ::)

yeah all his PHD professors musta been in on this conspiracy & fraud .
and gosh this conspiracy was never exposed or made public
it was kept all "hush hush"

Bush's reading list: heavy on bios and baseball
By Kenneth T. Walsh
Posted 8/17/06

George W. Bush a bookworm? White House aides say it's so. The born-again president's literary interests start with the predictable, such as his daily readings from the Bible. But he also enjoys books about Abraham Lincoln, his political hero, and, of course, yarns about baseball-in a past life, he was, after all, the managing partner of the Texas Rangers. Staffers say the president is actually engaged in an informal contest with White House senior adviser Karl Rove to see who can read more books this year. The latest score card has Bush ahead 60-50.A sampling of the president's reading list so far this year, according to White House aides:

Alexander II: The Last Great Tsar by Edvard Radzinsky

American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin Sherwin (a biography of Robert Oppenheimer, an inventor of the atomic bomb)

Clemente: The Passion and Grace of Baseball's Last Hero by David Maraniss (about the late all-star Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder)

Lincoln: A Life of Purpose and Power by Richard Carwardine

Lincoln's Greatest Speech: The Second Inaugural by Ronald C. White Jr.

Mao: The Unknown Story by Jung Chang and Jon Halliday

Nine Parts of Desire: The Hidden World of Islamic Women by Geraldine Brooks

Polio: An American Story by David Oshinsky (discussing how polio affected the United States in the mid-20th century)

The Big Bam: The Life and Times of Babe Ruth by Leigh Montville

The Great Influenza: The Epic Story of the Deadliest Plague in History by John M. Barry

Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky

The Stranger by Albert Camus

what does any of that matter? After all Bush was a better president than both Jimmy Carter & Obama put together. No doubt in my mind that you voted for the both of them too.

It does not bother me that Juniorbush has a library. I doubt that I will visit it, but I don't get to Dallas much, except for the airport.
