i felt and I could be wrong....that you have sympathies with this author

if walmart decides it's best or makes their operation more effecient
to re-use or use less packaging...less fuel..whatever....thats fine...
but I do not accept we or businesses should make decisions via
pressure from many left-wing sources that are in my opinion
pushing many falsehoods about the environment as a way to maximize
their power and control over people.... i dont buy global warming or that
the US is running out of fuel....so "control people methods" the Left is
using via "OMG we need to do this and do that" because of global
warming is hogwash to me. The final lines of the article you decided to
post are very clear to me what this is mainly about to this author.

There is a simple reason i posted the article.

I have always thought Wal-Mart had been getting a bad rap.

And i also know that they had been pioneering environmentally friendly business practices for years because it made business sense to do so.

So if they build stores that made use of skylights i had no problems with that.

If they made cfl purchases affordable i had no problems with that.

If they kept costs down i certainly had no problem with that.

And if they sold stuff that was well built and would last at close to the same cost as disposables that made sense.

Now i don't know what true conservatives want because apparently i am not one, but i happen to like clean air and i think it a wise practice to make sure we have clean water, but if dirty air and filthy water is the litmus test for conservatism, then count me out.

I'll just go my own way.
