"On Earth, Peace, Good Will toward Man."

"I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword" (Gospel of Matthew 10:34)

Take your pick: which is it?
"Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana."

Love and swords seem to be rather dissimilar.

I can only think of one similarity: the heart.

A heart seems to symbolize love.

On fencing garb, sometimes they paint a heart, but there it is a target, and not for Cupid.
