Last time I heard President Obama he favored allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire on a small minority of tax payers , keeping most of us as we are (except for the new medical tax wich will land mostly on the middle class).

Who does he think he is kidding? What tiny fraction of the cash he needs to keep his promises could be produced by the expiration of the Bush tax cut on such a small fraction of the earners? How big will the medical tax need to be for the purpose of keeping less than 10% more of us in medical treatment ?

I don't hope for high effeciency, or a finly detailed explanation, but I would like to be told realisticly how a system would work in terms that would givew me hope that it would really work.

Plane I heard on TV this week that the ObamaTax on the wealthy would
raise $85 billion dollars which is what Washington spends in about 8 days.

Yet its supposedly the GOP who's the "party of no".  When's the last time the Senate, run by the Dems, have done anything substantive with the GOP, regarding the economy, jobs, taxes, and don't even get me started about their legal obligation in proposing a budget??
