ROMNEY referred to himself as a "severe conservative". He said he wants to "get rid" of Planned parenthood and wants to reverse Roe vs. Wade.

I would say to ask Hillary to stay on, but she has f**ked up Libya so horribly that that would never happen.

I will also add, XO, that Iaccoca is a life long Democrat and this is a flip for him from 2008. He endorsed Obama last time. So yeah I think his endorsement of Romney will carry weight.

Lets not forget , a few months ago, when we had a brace of Republican canadates, Romney was the one the Democrats found least obvjectionable.

If Romney is not a Moderate Republican , then none of the Republicans are .

To me personally "moderate" is not a wonderfull thing, but to call Romney an extremist is just an error.
And the thing that has flipped and flopped most has been the Democratic attitude twards Romney.

Romney got along fine as a govenor of a state with a majority Dem legeslature, what better than this could demonstrate a reasonable attitude?

Romney did not get along fine in Massachusetts. He left office with a miserable approval rating of 36%.It would have been even lower than that if not for his most substantial feat, which was Romneycare.

The fact is, he will say or do anything, depending on how the wind might blow.

As for Iacocca. I doubt that if he endorsed Obama in 2008, it got many votes, and his endorsing Rawmoney in 2012 will have even less effect. It impresses you, but you would vote the Gingrich, Santorum, Cain, or Bachmann or perhaps [turn on echo box] S A T A N [turn off echo box] himself, if he agreed that lower tax rates would save us all.

Which was smart, because it took Obama completely off his game. He didn't know how to handle it. See my post above. Obama was conflicted about going after Romney for being an extreme conservative which Bill Clinton was for or going after him for being a flip flopper which Axelrod preferred. Obama was all confused. I don't know anybody who thinks Romney is a "severe conservative." I see him as a competent manager which is what we need right now.

Unfortunately, it and the endorsement of Warren Buffet were played up big by the media last time to say that these are the types of friends Obama has, not Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers. Of course, it wasn't true. I can't see how the Iacocca endorsement will not help Romney in Michigan and Ohio. I think Romney will win Ohio by up to 4 points and Michigan is too close to call right now.

Scott Brown is campaigning there right now and is the sitting senator.

Romney is not campaigning there because it is not a battleground state. But he will benefit from being that liberal state's governor and working with an 87% Democrat legislature. He burned Obama at the first debate with that point.
