Romney did not get along fine in Massachusetts. He left office with a miserable approval rating of 36%.It would have been even lower than that if not for his most substantial feat, which was Romneycare.
Romney called himself a "severe conservative", not even a compassionate one. Apparently, if you are down and out and perhaps a fellow Mormon, maybe you can drop by the White House and he will write you a check or something.
The fact is, he will say or do anything, depending on how the wind might blow.
As for Iacocca. I doubt that if he endorsed Obama in 2008, it got many votes, and his endorsing Rawmoney in 2012 will have even less effect. It impresses you, but you would vote the Gingrich, Santorum, Cain, or Bachmann or perhaps [turn on echo box] S A T A N [turn off echo box] himself, if he agreed that lower tax rates would save us all.
