Fairness is a very poor basis for taxation , there is no consensus on what is and isn't fair .

I just know it is always more fair to raise yours than mine.

If Government taxes were assessed on the basis of who was benefiting most , the big taxes would be local ones.

Perhaps that's the method to the madness.  Notice how my query still went unanswered

Your queries are abysmally stupid, and will ever go unanswered. You should be aware of this by now.

And you would be aware, if you were not so...  never mind, figure it out for yourself.

....and notice how my query still goes unanswered.  Perhaps they're scared of the truth?  Perhaps they simply can't be honest with themselves and simply type out how jealous or hateful they are of those dastardly rich folk?

I guess will have to come up with our reasons for why, since they're avoiding answering it, like the plague     8)

Just say it, be honest......how dare "the rich" have so much more than everyone else.  Despite the fact they already pay more in taxes than everyone else, and despite the fact the U.S. already has one of the highest regressive taxation on the planet, they should be punished.  If they just shared more, we wouldn't have to take it from them........right?
