25 People, Places, And Things Liberals Love To Hate
« on: January 12, 2013, 01:21:14 PM »
1) Guns for making all those poor innocent criminals break the law.

2) The old, dead white guys who founded America and their ridiculous, outdated Constitution that doesn't mention global warming or limits on soda size even once.

3) Nosy voters who ask questions like, "What kind of change?" and "Forward to where?"

4) Adorable little kids who want to run lemonade stands...WITHOUT A PERMIT!

5) The fact that Sarah Palin is the single best feminist role model in a generation while the Left's #1 feminist role model, Hillary Clinton, built her whole career around marrying the right guy.

6) Deciding issues based on the merits as opposed to going with whatever makes you sound "nice."

7) Informed voters.

8 ) Those “deceptive” “negative” campaign ads that take liberals “completely out of context” by quoting them when they take unpopular positions.

9) Minorities who actually expect Democrats to make their life better in return for their vote.

10) People who define patriotism as actually loving your country.

11) Black men who don't take orders from white liberals.

12) That no government program exists that can force Fox News to make Chris Matthews the head of its network.

13) Judging from Barack Obama's presidency so far -- jobs.

14) People who think anyone responsible enough to have sex is responsible enough to buy their own birth control.

15) All those dirty polluters who put a higher value on having electricity 24 hours a day at a reasonable cost with oil rather than using extremely expensive alternative energy sources that are only a few decades away from being almost as good.

16) Debt limits, budgets and anything else that makes it harder for liberals to spend other people’s money.

17) People who want to hear from conservatives what they believe instead of just accepting what liberals say conservatives believe.

18) Expecting liberals to live up to the same standards they want to impose on everyone else as opposed to tactfully ignoring their staggering hypocrisy because they "mean well."

19) The South.

20) People who believe they should be allowed to choose what lightbulbs they want to use in their own house.

21) Crazy radicals who believe our country should live within its means even if it means the guy who plays Big Bird won't be able to afford to have a butler.

22) The idea that everyone should be judged by the content of his character, not the color of his skin.

23) Voters who expect liberals to keep the campaign promises they made when they were pretending to be moderates in order to get elected.

24) All these Christians who actually insist on trying to stick to the Bible instead of Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi's interpretation of what God really meant to say.

25) People who live in America and actually like America, even when a Democrat isn't in charge.

Op-ed

(I especially like #22, as well as #24, as it's also the tactic I referenced recently, most often used in the saloon by hard core leftists when attemtping to "refute" what someone else said)

Someone wasted a lot of time composing all that rot, which kept them off the streets, at least.

....and yet you took time to respond to this supposed "rot", whild continuing to maintain a wide berth in responding to this or this, and so many others

What is needed is a quarum of Liberals who can screen this and give their own version of it so that we could know what it is that they think they hate , this we could compare with what we think they hate.

Don't be too hard on us XO, what we know of liberals , we know from observation and hearsay, which of these things struck you as the least true?

2) The old, dead white guys who founded America and their ridiculous, outdated Constitution that doesn't mention global warming or limits on soda size even once.

It DID, however, mention slavery and even gave more votes to slaveholders than it did to those who did not own slaves. Global warming is reality now, and was not reality then. Note that the FAA, the FDA and the TVA were also not mentioned, and local governments were given the power to regulate items not mentioned in the Constitution. NATO would have ben an abomination to George Washington.

Slavery was clearly ridiculous and outdated. The electoral College is also clearly ridiculous and outdated.

5) The fact that Sarah Palin is the single best feminist role model in a generation while the Left's #1 feminist role model, Hillary Clinton, built her whole career around marrying the right guy.

Sarah Palin is not any sort of feminist or any other sort of role model: she is a grandstanding, ignorant ditz. I do not HATE the "fact" that Sarah Ditz Palin is any sort of role model for anyone except perhaps a coke addict.
If she were such a great feminist, why didn't the GOP put her in the ticket instead of Ryan, who was even less an asset than Palin was to Cain? Even the GOP knows she was a ditz and not much good at getting women to vote for the ticket.

Hillary has, nonetheless, performed very well at a difficult job,m and Palin QUIT a pretty easy one to pursue fame and basically be a cheerleader for ignorant teapartying nitwits.

4) Adorable little kids who want to run lemonade stands...WITHOUT A PERMIT!

So long as they do not serve lemonade that is laden with germs or poison, I am all for children selling lemonade with or without a permit. This is a major non-issue. I have seen dozens of kids lemonade stands, and never seen one that had or needed a permit. Nor have I heard of anyone poisoned by lemonade. This is just some ratbag rightwing flake's Stupid Libertarian Topic of the Week. Unimportant to everyone.
And I don't hate it, I just think it is stupid to give it any importance whatever.

24) All these Christians who actually insist on trying to stick to the Bible instead of Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi's interpretation of what God really meant to say.

The Bible says stone your children to death if they disobey. The Bible presents God as some sort of monster that plays stupid games with Satan in the Book of Job. The Bible says lots of things that it contradicts in other parts of the Bible.

Nancy Pelosi does not use the Bible as some sort of Sharia Law, and that is fine with me. The Bible is not a document to govern any modern country, anywhere. Read the Bible for hundreds of reasons why it was also not much good at governing Israel and Judeah in ancient times.

Otherwise, we would be arresting and punishing people for forgetting the Sabbath (Friday, Saturday, Sunday?) and making it unholy because it is one of the Ten Commandments, isn't it?

People who want the Bible to be a sacred governing document have obviously not read the Bible. Much like Muslim fools who want Sharia Law based on the Koran.

And that is just for starters.
