I did not hope Olebush, Jebbiebush or Juniorbush would fail, other than fail to get themselves elected. All are genuine members of the oligarchy of this country and none of them represented my interests or what I regarded as the interests of this country and the State of Florida. That is why I voted for their opposition, because the opposition in each case was more against the oligarchy than the Bushes were.
I did not hope than any of them would fail, other than in the sense that voters would realize that they were not serving the country well. I did not desire that Saddam Hussein beat the Americans in their fight to remove Iraq from Kuwait. I did not favor Saddam winning in the second war, even though it was a gross mistake. I was all for capturing Bin Laden and eliminating the threat of Al Qaeda.
