Perspective is everything. Most people think Sylvester Stallone and Tom Cruise are over 6ft, but when they stand next to people that one KNOWS their height, then you can deduce an actual height, which in their cases, is no more than 5ft 8". If you look at a huddle of football players, most all look the same height. But when you put them next to a referee, the actual height becames apparent. Point being, simply standing next to another person means nothing, unless you know the height of the other. The others could be nearly as tall.
