Meaning he has a american mom like obama has he's qualified. But that detail didn't seem to be brought up for obama

  This comes up on a regular basis, it was for Goldwater and McCain.

  I never thought the accusation against Obama had validity, his mothers citizenship was good for his citizenship no matter where he might have been born.

How much was he handicapped when Hillary Clinton questioned his eligibility?

Didn't seem to slow him much at all , he rolled right over her.

Actually the birthers was the best thing to ever happen to obama. They litterally gave the presidency to him. It's the very reason obama made no big effort beyond showing a legal digital copy of his birth certificate. He didn't need to and it totally to his complete advantage.

This situation cause trouble for some of my relatives. My cousin actually has a expired birth certificate. The topic of valid documents changed the requirements in california so my cousins birth cards turned invalid. The county clerks told him his cards was valid three years ago. He only found out when he applied for a passport last year. Also that raised seal o the doc is also not true. A county clerk signature can validate a printed copy. So no physical original is legally required.

Makes sense really.

Maybe but his demand for obama's birth certificate may get brought up. Lets just say politically being tied to the birthers is never a plus

Trump seems to crave publicity.

He is a speculator and not a very good one, as several of his investments have declared bankruptcy.

He would be a horrible president, but he has never run for anything before and not even the oligarchs of the GOP would give him the nomination. Of course, he would have to divulge a lot about his finances, so he will never actually run.

He claimed that people would be surprised about what his private investigators were turning up in Hawaii, but he never said a word more about it.
