The confedracy is gone and thiers not a single reason for a failed nation to still have its flag up.

The supporters would not be happy if other countries were to put thier flag out in the open in the u.s.

History and heritage is not even a factor on displaying the flag.

There are probably very, very few actual "Sons of the Confederacy" left. The Civil War ended in 1865, 150 years ago. I agree that it is time to stop celebrating the Confederacy, which was by any standard, far more loathsome than Ian Smith's Rhodesia or Pik Boethe's South Africa.

There is no good reason for South Carolina to fly the Stars and Bars of the Confederacy on the Capitol grounds in Charleston.
