Jim Carey is an actor, not a doctor. Autism is not caused by vaccines.

This kid was diagnosed with autism BEFORE he was vaccinated, and Carey did not bother to check out the facts.
He is a great comedian, but I trust doctors much more than comedians when it comes to decisions about health.

But just realized this may cause other issues since the option the refuse has the potential of letting these diseases to grow immune to vaccines.

The fact is that people ought to get themselves vaccinated, first for their own good and then for the benefit of everyone else.
Doctors do not make a lot of money on common vaccines, neither do pharma companies.
Pharma companies would far rather provide pills taken daily for the rest of one's life, like blood pressure and cholesterol medicine.

Celebrities have the right of free speech, even when they are spouting rot, but people should not take them seriously, because they are simply ignorant.

OMG...I never intended to post here again, but I do stop by sometimes to see if anything has changed (it hasn't, other than I don't see Bt as much)...but I could not pass this up...anyone else notice?

...I also have never had the flu.

Then later...
...I have had several varieties of the flu and each time it has made me miserable for at least two weeks.

I meant to say that I have never had the flu while taking vaccines. I have been getting a vaccine every year for the past 15 years or so.
Prior to this, annual vaccines were unavailable.
The last time I had the flu was in the 1980's.

As everyone should  know, "the flu" is not one disease, but a bunch of similar viral infections that mutate from one year to the next.
They seem to originate when wild birds infect domestic birds, and they in turn infect swine. This tends to happen in counties in which farmers keep pigs, chickens and ducks in close proximity,, as in China.

I apologize if you were confused.

Mmmmmm, I wasn't confused, I read your posts word for word exactly as you posted them. The error was in not making the meaning clear. Of course, I assumed you meant that, but then you know what they say about that word assume.

well, now it is clear what I meant.
I think vaccines are a great thing, because I have had lots of them and they have never failed to work.
