Now, businesses are targeted for discrimination, BY THE GOVERNMENT, for daring to seek proof of citizenship to potential hires.  Wow

So, instead of targeting businesses that hire illegal immigrants, the Government is going to go after businesses that were making every effort NOT to hire illegal immigrants

US residency is not the same thing as US citizenship.
One must show proof of residency (Green Card) to be hired.
