It is not just Mexico.  There is no way that anyone in this country can compete with Bangladeshis that work for $4 a day. As Marx says, capitalism is a race to the bottom. It was less true in his day, because shipping was slow and there were no factories in backward countries.

In China, they have workers  who live in hotbed dorms where they share a bed in three shifts and work 10 hours a day, six days a week

When my wife was younger she had a job making shirts, the minimum wage didn't pay her better it just helped the job go away.

Japan is not cheap labor anymore, neither is Singapore ,even China is not nearly as cheap for labor as it used to be.

I would prefer that this not happen. That is why we need to tax their asses and use the money for the education and benefit of the majority. Just make sure that Mit pays 35% of his megamillion dollar income rather than 14%

    There has to be a lot of aggrieved for this to happen , a large middle class is a buffer.
The middle class do not want to pay extra on investments either.

I'm not into taxing the rich more but for them to pay thier taxes period. Thier are many situations which the wealthy who pays alot less cashwise then us. I totally do not think what money gained will even cover anything. Money from the rich is not the answer. Addressing the high cost of thing maybe.
