Marcos is an empty suit. Or a suit stuffed with nothing but ambition.

He had to go to three different colleges before he could graduate.

The way this works is that the student goes to college one, signs up for five courses and flunks two. He repeatsd this the following semester and gets thrown out.
College two accepts the passing grades and forgets the F's and D's.

The student repeats the performance, and finally gets to college three, where he actually graduates.
Ted is not stupid, he just does not like to study things he does not like.

There is a lot that he does not know.
