Enforced military service was brought up here but i lost which post it was. Made me think of the validity of draft but I can't find data on it.
What I'm trying to find is how useful is the draft to the war effort. We know draftees by nature less effective that volunteers. But I wonder do they sometimes makes things worst. Like accidentally getting troops get wiped out.
I understand the draft is a last resort situation. But that doesn't make them any safer to use
