France is not doing well

The government compromised in almost everything but the ability to fire employees and now thiers a strike. Labor is so strong thier that if they disagree with something labor has actually hold hostage execs. I believe the last time that happened a foreign contract pulled out of the country. I don't recall people presently saying anything besides foods thats positive about france.

France is a great country.
Unless you have been there, you will never appreciate it.

I have and actually caused a stir there. I tried to eat a crust and it upset the folks over there. Obviously I greatly violated some cultural food taboo . I finally decided to eat a crescent instead.

But is it a great country now? The people are not exactly doing things to keep it that way.

I have eaten many a crust in front of actual French people and they did not bat an eye. They ate crusts as well. My French girlfriend and I discussed eating crusts once and we both agreed that we liked eating crusts.'

France still has great museums, the Metro runs great in Paris, The bullet trains are fast and comfortable and the food is good. We ate in a Chinese restaurant in Pris once, and it was not bad, but American Chinese food is a lot better. Well, the chicken was better, that is what we had. The won tons were better in France, though, and no free tea or fortune cookie.

France has great scenery and they are better at pruning trees.

The lack of free tea was quite rough for my group . the we eat was pretty good but the strict food schedule and the apathy was quite amusing to us
