I found the original source for the use of the word "Yahoo":

ya·hoo n., pl. -hoos.

A crude or brutish person. See synonyms at boor.

Yeah, I looked that up too. I don't know why I didn't think of it before. 'Yahoo' coming from Gulliver's Travels I mean.
