I'll look to ami or others to correct me, but the documents in question were created in microsoft word and if they are discussing previous versions of the same doc that history moves to the current doc. For example documents that are shared by a team keep track of revisions made and by whom and are usually highlighted by different color text and or strikethoughs. I don't see where rough draft documents are relevant to investigators especially if they hadn't been asked for. The finished docs are what matters and i see no attempt to delete those.
This type of analysis reminds me of dogs barking at UPS trucks.
