China's former chief of food and drug inspection was executed for taking bribes.
Every time I hear one of the whining, sniveling excuses for American torture of prisoners, it seems to be accompanied by the pathetic allegation that America seeks out and "punishes" those responsible. If it weren't so laughably obvious that the only ones ever forced to pay the price for these atrocities are the lowest-ranking scapegoats available, the completely trivial nature of the "punishments" imposed ought to be evidence enough that "America" (i.e. its criminal current leadership) doesn't give a shit if its prisoners are tortured or abused or not (best case) or else is actively promoting torture and abuse from the top down(worst case.)
As an obvious example of a country that is seriously determined to eradicate a problem, we have China. China goes after abuse at the top and punishes it to the fullest extent possible. THAT is how a country behaves when there is a problem that it is seriously determined to put an end to. So hopefully when the next American atrocity is brought to light, one pathetic excuse that we will never have to listen to again will be that America pursues and punishes those responsible.
