Counter-Punch article outlines the problem and the great secrecy surrounding the details of the agreements Iraq is being asked to sign.  "If you want us to leave, sign the agreements."  - - the effect of making the oil concessions a "benchmark" in the leave-or-stay criteria set by the U.S. for its own departure.

It doesn't get any more obvious - - the U.S. came for the oil and they're not leaving without it.  And the MSM aren't about to provide any detail at all that will illuminate this key to the whole question of "Why we are there."  The robbery will be conducted under cover of darkness.

Precisely.  And to bring the others around, is why you stay.  Sooner or later they too will sign, just to stop the carnage and get you out of their homes.  Or at least, THAT is your real objective.  One of them.

Nice sentiment, but it wouldn't be your problem, it's their problem.  And they'll sort it out their way.  Not your way.
