Hummmnnn.... from my vantage point, I don't see the IF at all.  Our children take the easy route as we do as parents.  Let's not forget that here in the 'free world'  our biggest enemy on that front is 'choice.'

choice aint that much of a problem, just make it worth it .
the reason chinese bootleg is because it`s worth it
make it worth it for kids to want to learn.
ex. the music industry- notice how into computers kids are to copy/mix/create music

I had no understanding of the stock market than some clerk told me how to put money on egghead awhile back.
than in 5days I made 3k and out of the blue it was easy for me to learn.
I learned so quicky when I finally took a class I knew more than the teacher.
