but how does that nullify an assault charge
yes those  boys asked to get a beating  ,but beating them up is still illegal
same for everybody else
shouldn`t the protest be for changing the law to not allow nooses to be hanged on trees?

I've followed this story very little but my understanding is the whiteys started the brawl.

No matter who started it, it was a brawl and all are responsible.  Either they all get charged with attempted murder and conspiracy or none do.

I think the protesters were really trying to get Mychal Bell out of jail, where he's been since December if I remember right. Get charges lowered so he wasn't being tried as an adult.  I have been following this.
